Nu smyger Coach Frank igång en utökning av verksamheten, fler lyftkurser, individuell träningsplanering och fler timmar för personlig träning. Inte bara för dig som vill lyfta tyngst på din box/gym, utan även ett sammarbete med fysioteraupeter/kiropraktor för dig med skador eller svagheter som hindrar dig i din vardag eller träning. Ta del av närmare 40 år av erfarenhet av idrott och träning, kan inte jag gör dig stark kan ingen det 😉

Coach Frank is opening a new chapter, get on the team while we are building up steam for the big relase this summer. Personal training, individual programming and we will also open shop together with physios/chiropractors to help everyone who has the need to performe better in day to day living or training. Close to 40 yrs of experince in training, if Frank can´t make you stronger very few others can 😉

Oly Small Group

So I am teaching twice a weeknight at the best little CF box in Stockholm, http://www.crossfitegen.se And as usual I am struck with awe with how happy, eager to learn and what go getters these people are. Viva CrossFit! And I as I was discussing with an other old lifter, who has discoverered a new meaning to life through these folks bitten by the CF-bug…IS how much better these guys and gals smell than our old lifter pals.

Speed is everything..almost

Heavy grinding lifts, are cool, gutsy and have that Rocky flavor…if you really want to improve, keep them few and at least for every heavy session you do, do 3-4 lighter ones where you use enough weight without sacrificing bar speed. This is my poor attempt at doing “speed” work, but 44 yr old lifting gimps do not move like lightning anymore.

The real secret is…

That there are no secrets, because whatever you discover or are enlightened about new reasearch…its all been done before, at least when it comes to the field I specialize in.

One thing allways works and that is focused and hard work, as long as you are doing proper hard work and not more or less than you need to do to achive stimuli.

I suggest you watch this clip with former weightlifting “god” and now coach David Rigert..you will if you pay attention to what is said and not said, learn more than you can learn from a thousand “studies” and sitting trough hours of lectures. Understand what he is saying and doing.

 

Feeling my age

Having my lunch rest at the gym, working out and coaching guys in their prime and half your age is tiresome…

Although I have not been doing oly lifts for a century or so…I am surprised what the old body can do…feels like I have broken glass in most my joints, but its kind of a dull ache and even my old injuries are not acting up a lot.

Give me a few months and I think a lot of ppl will be surprised to see some heavy lifts from an old guy..and when I am saying heavy..I mean HEAVY.
